Proposal of Methodology for Reliability of Operation and Optimization of Rotary Machines Maintenance
Řezníčková, Hana ; Helebrant, František (referee) ; Pačaiová, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The presented doctoral thesis is focused on solving reliability of operation and optimization of maintenance of rotary machines. In the theoretical part, the RCM method is analyzed in detail including several available modifications of this method. Furthermore, the most commonly used methods of technical diagnostics are presented. The practical part is focused on the design of a new methodology based on the RCM method.
Risk Modelling in Engineering Applications
Konečný, Antonín ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on risk modelling in engineering applications. The knowledge obtained from statistical methods of operational research, specifically regression analysis, is used. Electrical quantities measured on the stator winding of an electrical machine (generator) are analyzed. Regression analysis and statistical hypothesis testing is performed in Statgraphics software. The success results of the regression analysis for risk reduction are documented in detail and the regression curves are visualized in graphs. Conclusions and recommendations for each generator, as well as general ones, are formulated.
Multiparametric generator diagnostics
Buchtová, Blanka ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on multiparametric diagnostic of generators at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. One generator was chosen for the thesis and it was examined especially from the practical point of view. The thesis describes current state of the issue with focus on noise diagnostics, vibrodiagnostics and electrodiagnostics. The emphasis is on the system approach of the solution. In the practical part an experiment is designed, described and evaluated. Attention is paid to the conclusions of the performed vibrodiagnostics and noise diagnostics. Data sets are evaluated separately and the relationship between the two diagnostic methods is analyzed. Furthermore, the data set from electrodiagnostics is evaluated and dependencies of electrical diagnostic quantities on other quantities are described. Trends in electrical diagnostic quantities are also monitored. Conclusions and recommendations are formulated at the end of the thesis. It is stated that using multiparametric diagnostics to assess the status of generators in power plants is still in its beginning and that the conclusions of the submitted thesis will contribute to the developmnet in this area.
Maintenance and diagnostics of machine tools focusing on vibrodiagnostics, electrodiagnostics and tribodiagnostics
Houška, Jan ; Řezníčková, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
Master‘s thesis deals with maintenance and related technical diagnostics of machine tools. Diagnostics methods on which is the thesis focused are vibrodiagnostics, tribodiagnostics and electrodiagnostics. Work includes design of diagnostic system and measurement of vibration and electrical parameters of the machining center. Based on given results from data evaluation, further steps in predictive maintenance and usage of technical diagnostics for machine tools are recommended. Within tribotechnical diagnostics, the thesis is based on evaluation of long-term monitoring of process liquid status, which was used in several machining machines. A procedure for the measurement of selected parameters is proposed and periodical liquid status checks are established.
Reengineering of the maintenance system of variable speed drives using multi-parameter diagnostics
Nahodil, Petr ; Helebrant, František (referee) ; Pačaiová, Hana (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The work is focused on multiparametric diagnostics, which is an important part of machine and equipment maintenance today. It deals with the use of fields such as vibrodiagnostics, electrodiagnostics, thermodiagnostics, tribodiagnostics, assembly and optical measurements as well as other diagnostic methods in order to obtain a complete picture of the monitored devices. The work also discusses the modern procedure of using multiparametric diagnostics to identify the causes of problems and define appropriate measures in the framework of maintenance. The dissertation is based specifically on the implementation of multiparametric diagnostics in the operability of drives with variable speeds and justifies the necessary reengineering of the maintenance system for these devices. The given maintenance system will clearly require a change in the inspection activity primarily in terms of quality, but certainly also quantitative verification and validation of the measured data in situ, an adequate change in the documentation processed by the manufacturer, or by the supplier, conducted by the user, etc. The work itself is based on the basic idea that if I can measure and diagnose something, then I can declare that I know something about it.
